Digital services and international infrastructures to support African companies and operators

How much does international connectivity influence economic and social development? According to Centro Studi TIM, broadband contributed about USD 1.1 trillion to Africa's GDP growth in the decade ending in 2019, while future investments in international capacity and connectivity could bring further benefits to Africa's GDP per capita, estimated from 0.42% to 0.58% in just the first 2-3 years following the implementation of new infrastructure
