Claudio Zezza has been appointed Vice President Administration, Finance and Control in November 2014.
Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of TIM Brasil, which he joins in 2008 after acquiring an extensive international experience as Corporate Controller of Telecom Italia Mobile international Subsidiaries.
Claudio joins Telecom Italia Group in 1990 and his first years he manages several activities, among others Strategic and Planning & Control, International Business and Financial Plans, Consolidation and Reporting, Investor Relations, Merger and Acquisition. Claudio holds a degree in Business Administration from the University “Sapienza” in Rome.
Maurizio Gelletti has been appointed Vice President Human Resources of Sparkle Group in August 2018.
Prior to that he was head of Litigation and Labour Law in Industrial Relations of HR since july 2017.
Maurizio joined Telecom Italia Group in 1989 and he has been holding several managerial Human Resources positions, mainly in People Management and Industrial Relations, both in the Headquarters and locally (Naples, Venice, Trieste and Bolzano) as well as in the subsidiary Telecontact. He had many appointments in the welfare bilateral organizations of the company.
He holds a degree in Law and a post degree in Labour Law from the University of Trieste.
Federica Moroni has been appointed Vice President Institutional and External Communication in June 2018.
Having joined Telecom Italia in 2007 with the responsibility of the Group’s Press Office, in May 2011 she was appointed VP and Head of Communication at Telecom Italia Media (listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, the company owned the television stations La7 and MTV Italia and the broadcasting company Persidera).
In March 2015 Federica joined Olivetti as VP Institutional and External Relations contributing to the relaunch of the company and the re-positioning of the historic brand as TIM Group’s digital arm. She also served as Member of the Board and Chairperson of the Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti (AASO) until November 2018.
Before working for the TIM Group, she held the position of Director of Communication of FB Group (Oct. 2001 – Jan. 2004) and of Rothschild (Italian branch) until 2007.
She began her professional path as a researcher at the Italian think tank Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) to later move to the Eni Group where she held different roles within the Strategic Planning and External Relations Depts. until 2001.
Federica holds a degree in Foreign Modern Languages and Literatures from Sapienza University of Rome and a Master's degree from SOAS, University of London.
Mauro Moriconi has been appointed Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs of Sparkle Group in June 2018.
Mauro joined Telecom Italia in 1988 and he has been holding several managerial positions in the Legal Department of Telecom Italia, including the responsibility of the Legal National Wholesale, Business, Consumer, Technology and Purchasing Departments.
He holds a degree in Law from Sapienza University of Rome.
Anna Maria Casazza has been appointed Vice President Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management & Revenue Assurance in December 2018.
Previously she was in charge of Revenue Assurance (since 2012) and Enterprise Risk Management (since 2014).
Anna Maria started her career in the telecommunications industry in 1988 at Italcable covering several positions in the Planning & Control, Reporting, Budgeting and International Cost Accounting sectors.
In 2000 she became responsible for Accounting Management of European Carriers within the International Wholesale Division of Telecom Italia.
In 2003 she joined Sparkle as Head of Billing; in this position she was responsible for receivable and payable invoice management, payment and credit management of Voice and IP&Data Services.
Anna Maria holds a degree in Economics & Administration from the University of Salerno “UNISA” and a MBA in Business Management at the SDOA.
Riccardo Pieralice was appointed Vice President Business Development in February 2017.
Previously he was Vice President Business Development and Positioning starting from October 2015 and, prior to that, he was in charge of Strategy and Business Development as of August 2010.
He has been working in Sparkle since 2004 supporting the development and rationalization projects for Sparkle’s Group Subsidiaries.
He joined Telecom Italia Group in 1992. From 1992 to 1995 he was senior analyst in Strategy Department at corporate level and then moved to International Operations from 1995 to 2004 where he held different roles and responsibilities within Planning & Control Dpt., acting as a controller and participating to several M&A projects in that period.
Before joining the Telecommunication Group he worked for Eli Lilly, a US pharmaceutical company, as a manufacturing plant engineer & planner and as treasury analyst. He began his career in 1998 as a radar system engineer in Elettronica S.p.A.
He holds an MBA from the Bocconi University in Milan and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome.
Daniele Mancuso has been appointed Vice President ICT Engineering at Sparkle Group in October 2018.
He is in charge of the technological innovation, planning, engineering and development of Sparkle’s Global Network as well as of Information Technology.
From August 2016 he held the position of Director of Innovation & Engineering, in charge of the engineering and deployment of Voice, Mobile, IP and & Data Platforms as well as of Submarine Cables, ICT Security Processes & Platforms and Datacenters & Cloud Infrastructures, while leading the Network Innovation and Evolution processes.
Prior to that he was Director Architecture & Engineering.
He began his career in in 1991 in a Software House dealing with Robotics applied to Agriculture and, in 1993, he moved to Telecom Italia’s domestic Transmission department, focusing on the migration from PDH to SDH technology.
In January 2013 Daniele was appointed Director of Engineering, IT & Security of Sparkle Mediterranean & Balkan Region where, since 2001, he has been holding several positions within Engineering & Operations departments.
Daniele holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Catania.
Giuseppe Valentino was appointed Vice President Line of Business IP & Data in February 2017. He joined the company in 2003 and he has held senior positions within Sales, Product Management and Innovation departments.
From 1996 to 2002 he worked for GTS/Ebone, a pioneer in IP and cross-border fiber backbones development in Europe, with business development as well as sales responsibilities.
He started his career in 1991 at ICT manufacturer Italtel as Project Engineer and worked at Bell Labs in Denver, Colorado, between 1994 and 1995 as coordinator of a joint development program between Italtel and AT&T, now Alcatel-Lucent.
Stefano Olivieri was appointed Vice President Line of Business Voice & Mobile in October 2015.
Previously he was in charge of Marketing Voice Operation as of January 2006.
Stefano started his career in the telecommunication industry in 1990 at Italcable as Carrier Relation Manager for the Far East and has developed a strong expertise in international wholesale voice and mobile data services. In 1993 he moved to Hong Kong where he was responsible for market entry strategies in the Far East and the development of the international services offer in the region. In 1996 he moved back to HQ where he took the responsibility of market analysis, identification of new market segments and targets, and LCR offer development.
In 2000 he was appointed Director of International Wholesale Marketing Voice. In this position he was in charge of the company’s strategic marketing for wholesale Voice and International Roaming.
Stefano Holds a Degree in Business & Administration from the University of Rome “Sapienza”.
Maria Teresa Ferrigno has been appointed Vice President Sales for West Europe in February 2017.
With a wide professional experience, Maria Teresa began her career in Telecom Italia in 1992 and has gained a wide international expertise in the TLC industry thanks to the variety of roles covered over the years, spanning from HR to marketing and sales, having worked in Europe, South and North America.
She has spent over 20 years abroad being firstly Head of South America in Buenos Aires for T.M.I. Telemedia International, 100% Telecom Italia Group, then CEO of Latin American Nautilus, the company managing TI Group operations in the Americas, and being lastly Sparkle Americas Sales EVP.
Back to the headquarters in Rome, in 2015 she was appointed EVP Line of Business IP & Data.
Maria Teresa holds a degree in Political Sciences at the LUISS in Rome and an MBA in marketing and finance at the ISDA.
Zvika Caspy has been appointed Vice President for East Europe & Mediterranean in February 2017.
He joined Telecom Italia Group in 1997 as Director of Sales and Marketing of MED-1 Submarine Cables. At the time one of the pioneering private submarine cable project worldwide which he supported from its very inception, he developed a specific expertise in the commercial dynamics of the submarine cable industry.
Prior to this appointment, he held various responsibilities within Sparkle group from 2010 onwards focusing on the European and Mediterranean regions.
Prior to joining the Telecom Italia Group he held several commercials positions in the telecommunication and financial sectors.
He holds an MBA from Boston University.
Leonardo Cerciello has been appointed Vice President Sales for Asia, Africa & Middle East in February 2017.
After a long experience in Sales, he was Vice President Marketing since December 2012 and prior to this role he had managed the Voice Services Business Line.
Leonardo began his career in Telecom Italia in 1994 and he has gained a wide international experience and expertise in the TLC industry being responsible also for various senior positions within Sales Department in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
In such role he has implemented a selective customer approach, leveraged existing investment and boosted Telecom Italia Sparkle market position expanding company’s customer base for Voice and Data Services.
From 1996 to 2000 he served as Country Manager in London and in Frankfurt.
Leonardo Cerciello holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Rome “Sapienza” and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Massimo Massaro has been appointed Vice President Network Operations & Provisioning in August 2016.
He started at Italcable in 1990 with the responsibility of the International Operation & Maintenance Center in Palermo.
He coordinated several TI Group’s investment projects in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Cuba, Serbia, USA, France, Tunisia, Oman, developing a strong expertise in International Wholesale and Retail Services.
In 1997 Massimo was in South America to build the first Pan-American telecommunication companies of TI Group: Etecsa Cuba and Bolivia, Telecom Argentina and Entel Chile.
From 2007 to 2016 Massimo has held different roles and responsibilities in Customer Assurance and Delivery and in Network & Service Operations Center within Telecom Italia Sparkle and TI Group.
Massimo holds a degree in Electronic Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Palermo.
