Telecom Italia Sparkle strengthens its role in North Africa in the Corporate segment

Telecom Italia Sparkle strengthens its positioning in the African market thanks to the contract recently signed with a leading European financial institution, providing for the deployment and full management of a Regional MPLS Network covering most of North Africa, including countries such as Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia.

TI Sparkle has been selected by the Customer whose main requirement was to rely on partner who could effectively support the migration of their international sites to an MPLS VPN solution that would ensure a high quality performance - through a complete diversification of the paths towards each destination - and a cost effective IP based service.

“With the successful negotiation of this last contract, Telecom Italia Sparkle confirms its strong competitive positioning in the Mediterranean Region,” says Paolo Ferrari, CEO of TI Sparkle. “The Mediterranean is a region where we can combine a strong commercial presence with the extensive proprietary infrastructure of the MedNautilus backbone, in addition to bilateral and consortia cable systems. This is how we are able to grant our customers with most reliable and cost effective services and reach throughout the Mediterranean Basin.”
