Sparkle Dissertation Award – First edition

Sparkle, in collaboration with the University of Palermo, in order to promote research and knowledge in the field of submarine digital communication infrastructures, is pleased to announce the first edition (2023/2024) of the "Sparkle Dissertation Award" to reward Master's theses that make an original contribution to the development of the industry.

The award is open to students who have successfully discussed a Master's dissertation at the University of Palermo between June 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024. The dissertation must deal with a topic that is related to the field of digital submarine infrastructures. Possible examples include: the impact of geopolitics on submarine cables; technologies for increasing the bandwidth carried on submarine cables; and the economic impact of the landing of submarine infrastructure on the areas affected.
