Telecom Italia Sparkle And GPTC Of Libya Announce a Partnership Agreement For The Provision Of International Services To Corporate Customers

Telecom Italia Sparkle (TIS) and General Posts and Telecommunications Company of Libya (GPTC) will combine their know-how, competencies and marketing strategies in order to provide high quality voice and data services to both Italian and Libyan corporate customers.

As a result of this agreement, TIS will increase its international reach in the North African region, where it already enjoys a leading role, following similar partnership agreements already in place with Tunisie Telecom, Telecom Egypt and TE Data.

The signing ceremony and the press conference were held in Tripoli in the framework of TAQNYA 2005, the international exhibition of telecommunications and information technology, where TIS showcased its products and services in its own stand.

Stefano Mazzitelli, CEO of TIS, and Marwan K. Maghur, Director General of GPTC, expressed their satisfaction for the agreement, and their commitment to meet the increasing needs of the corporate customers in the area.
