Telecom Italia Sparkle wins new contract from one of Brazil’s largest Enterprises, Petrobras

Telecom Italia Sparkle has won an international deal with Brazilian oil giant Petrobras thorough its local operations of LaNautilus, its Latin American backbone covering seven major markets in the Region and connecting South to North America.

The deal, which was bid for by all major international players with presence in Brazil, includes an international dedicated network with capacity up to 34 megabits connecting Petrobras’ Brazilian operations with Petrobras’ venues in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Venezuela. 

In addition, Petrobras will benefit from a Global IP access service through Seabone, TI Sparkle’s Tier 1, fully IPv6 enabled global IP Backbone.

“This deal represents a renewed sign of trust towards Telecom Italia Sparkle by Brazil’s largest company and it also demonstrates our good positioning in the Brazilian market and strong regional presence” says Paolo Ferrari, TI Sparkle Chief Executive Officer.

TI Sparkle will further support Petrobras with a dedicated local customer service and technical support in Portuguese language.
