Telecom Italia Sparkle (TIS) to establish Representative Office in Hanoi, Vietnam

Within Telecom Italia Group, the "Bel Paese" telecommunications giant, worldwide operator with more than 30 Billion Euros annual revenues, TIS Sparkle is a full service International provider, offering a complete range of solutions : voice services, IP, bandwidth and data services for fixed and mobile operators, ISPs and multinational corporations.

In Vietnam, as already proven in more than 50 countries around the globe, TIS proposes itself as a leading expert in Consulting Services delivery: "We have done it for ourselves, we can do it for you", said Mr Nicola Schinaia, Vice President, at the opening ceremony. "TIS treasures the wealth of knowledge, innovation and experience acquired through the many years of the operational life of Telecom Italia Group, a fully integrated fixed and mobile TLC conglomerate. We are eager to pass our capacity on to the Vietnamese, very competitive although young, TLC industry” Mr. Schinaia continued : "Our goal is ultimately to contribute to the development of better services to the general public to significantly participate in the creation of a more dynamic and more efficient Vietnamese economy and society".

The TIS Representative Office opening event took place in Hanoi the 2nd of April in the presence of the Italian Ambassador HE Mr. Alfredo Matacotta Cordella, Vice Minister of Communications and Information and a large number of representatives of the TLC industry. Mr. Schinaia, TIS Chief Representative, introduced Mr Pietro Sequi as the TIS General Representative, permanently resident in Vietnam. Mr Sequi, brings to TIS team many years of direct working experience in Vietnam as former Director of the Italian ODA program office in this Country.
