Sparkle contributes to TIM Group's ESG reporting, sharing the goals of making resources more efficient, reducing emissions, creating a sustainable supply chain, developing digital technology and overcoming the gender gap.

In the specifics of its activities, Sparkle has launched some peculiar initiatives, particularly in the field of Social - Diversity & Inclusion and in the field of ESG Governance tools – in the dialogue with its stakeholders.

 
 

Sparkle’s mission and goals include the protection of the environment, in coherence with the principles of sustainability and responsibility of the Company.

We proactively act to identify and manage the impacts of business on employees, customers, and communities with a focus in the educational and scientific fields. 

YOUNG WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM (YEP) is Sparkle’s Diversity & Inclusion flagship project, part of a broader commitment to the promotion of the culture of gender equality. 

Sparkle collaborates with the University of Genoa and the SubOptic Foundation to create the world’s first postgraduate degree in submarine fiber optic cables.

Sparkle is actively engaged in scientific research using submarine fibre optic cables to monitor seismic activity in the Mediterranean Sea. Current projects include the collaboration with the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) on the Mednautilus cable and the participation in the EU-funded ECSTATIC consortium on the BlueMed cable

 
 

CERTIFICATIONS
Sparkle has adopted a Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment Management System (QHSE Management System) compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 and has developed an Information Security Management System (ISMS) within the context of the organization according to standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to guarantee protection of data and information related to clients.
Sparkle has also obtained the ISO 37001 Certificate of Compliance for Anti-Corruption Management System.
