Sparkle's NaaS Strategy: Empowering the Future of Network Services
Our vision for Network as a Service (NaaS) is to empower businesses to seamlessly scale their Wide Area Networks (WANs) and swiftly adapt to evolving demands. By leveraging standardized API communication, Sparkle's NaaS solutions offer flexible, customizable services tailored to the unique needs of each customer, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability. Whether it's expanding bandwidth, maintaining low latency or securing sensitive data, our solutions are designed to effectively meet diverse customer needs.
NaaS Ecosystem
The NaaS ecosystem is a dynamic and comprehensive framework built on principles of collaboration, standardization, and automation. It involves multiple stakeholders, including service providers, technology vendors and standardization bodies like MEF (a non-profit industry forum of network, cloud, and technology providers). This ecosystem ensures consistency, completeness, and synergy among various components to deliver high-quality network services.
Core NaaS Functionalities
- Collaboration and Standardization: Our NaaS ecosystem thrives on the synergy between various organizations and network elements to create a standardized approach to network services
- Automation and Orchestration: Automation is at the heart of our NaaS ecosystem. We leverage LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration) APIs to automate service provisioning, management and assurance, thereby reducing operational complexities and improving service delivery speed. This automation minimizes errors and ensures prompt detection and resolution of any SLA breaches, maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction
- Dynamic and Scalable Network Services: NaaS provides dynamic network capabilities that can scale based on customer needs. This flexibility is crucial for businesses requiring adjustable bandwidth, low latency and secure connections. Sparkle offers Ethernet and Cloud Connect services on demand and adopts uCPEs, integrated with our NVF and Orchestrator, facilitating the seamless deployment of NFV onto our platforms
- Naas Gate: Sparkle’s NaaS Gate is a virtual access point that enables flexible and seamless integration with our Network-as-a-Service platform and Networking Services. Customers can select the preferred NaaS end point from the Customer Portal based on their specific needs, including specific location or country, and connectivity requirements
- Security and Integration of Advanced Technologies: Security is a fundamental aspect of NaaS. Our ecosystem incorporates advanced security protocols and frameworks such as SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and cutting-edge technologies like SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) and quantum-safe cryptography to enhance network performance, reliability, and security. These technologies enable the creation of robust, application-centric networks that meet the security demands of modern enterprises
- Dynamic Management of Customer Needs: At the core of NaaS is the focus on delivering tailored solutions that meet specific customer requirements. Companies can automate the monitoring and enforcement of SLAs across their entire network, reducing manual intervention and ensuring timely detection and resolution of any SLA breaches
Sparkle NaaS: The Future of On-Demand Connectivity
Sparkle’s Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering provides flexible, on-demand connectivity with seamless integration into our global network. The first service introduced is the QSI (Quantum Safe over Internet), delivering advanced security through quantum-safe encryption to protect data from emerging cyber threats. As our NaaS portfolio expands, we will continue to introduce new services to enhance network agility, security, and performance.
Sparkle is committed to expanding NaaS to various applications, from edge devices to cloud infrastructure. We continually evolve our solutions to meet emerging needs while educating stakeholders about the critical role of security within the NaaS paradigm. Our approach aims to raise awareness and drive adoption of NaaS by highlighting its security benefits.
